Yoga Classes

Yoga is more than a “strength and stretch” exercise that allows students to lengthen muscles and enhance core strength. Yoga is highly beneficial as a stand-alone wellness practice or in combination with your fitness efforts. Class Descriptions

Yin Yoga

Get deeper into the body by letting go of muscle contraction and focusing on the connective tissues of the ligaments, tendons and joints. FYZ Yin will take you through a series of 10 to 15 poses per class each of which is held for approximately 2 to 5 minutes. The use of props such as blocks, blankets and straps is common. This is a great class to supplement an intense strength or cardio training program or to simply quiet the mind and create length in the body.

Flow Yoga

Connect your body, mind and breath as you flow from one pose to another. FYZ Flow is an all levels class focusing on alignment, flexibility and balance. This is a great place to start your practice or to come for a more relaxed, stress-relieving, recovery day.

Power Yoga

With an emphasis on strength and flexibility FYZ Power classes will take you to your limits. A more vigorous class than the FYZ Flow, incorporating inversions, arm balances and time for you to be creative with your body and breath!

FYZ 5

Who says yoga doesn’t get your heart rate up and satisfy your cardiovascular needs? This class unique to Find Your Zen, and created by founder Christina Ratusznik, is a blend of cardio, strength, and flexibility. Each class will take you through a heart-thumping, full-body, interval style workout. Bring your mat and your water and be ready to get sweaty!

iRest & iRestore

Align yourself as you are guided through a gentle, grounding restorative sequence. Class includes a 30 minute guided iREST meditation that will set you up for the best nights’ sleep and prepare you to meet and greet your week. All ages and levels welcome. This class is supportive for anyone experiencing illness, anxiety, and stress.

Kids Yoga

We live in hectic times with many multi-sensory distractions. Kids classes focus on aligning kids to their ability to create a playful place of peace and strength. Foundations of yoga are laid through breath, asana, art, games and mindfulness. From 5-5:30pm we dive into the present moment awareness (paying attention on purpose!) through various mindfulness activities. Families leave feeling gratitude and connected to the gift of this moment. For ages 6 to 12; parents are welcome and encouraged to participate.

Aromatherapy Meditation

Unplug, relax and breathe deep! Come explore essential oils and learn how they can support your life, create a positive atmosphere for growth and reconnect the body’s innate ability to heal. Gentle movement and supported postures will be offered to deepen your Aromatherapy Meditation experience. All ages and activity levels welcome. This class is balancing for anyone with excess energy while supportive for those experiencing decreased energy due to stress or illness.

Find Your Zen also offers a $15 Single Class price for students with an ID (must be purchased in the Studio).
